-Everyone who has not yet paid dues for the semester see Austin (email at fmj30cal@gmail.com to arrange a meeting).  We need people to pay their dues if they have not yet paid.

Here are some sweet sponsor discounts that are currently going on:

-RUDY PROJECT
go to https://www.rudyprojectusa.com/b2b/ABK_Bro.htm and use the code fsutri (case sensitive).  NOTE:  go to \"Sports & Casual Gear\" on the left-hand menu to see the largest selection.  That\'s not new, but the fact that we can share this discount code with friends and family is!
On a personal note, anyone who wants to demo my aero helmet (Syton Supercomp) is welcome to contact me.  Also, we now have a deal that for every $1000 that the club orders (or friends & family, as long as the code \"fsutri \" is used) we get a free pair of glasses.  I got the Horus glasses in the mail on 2-5-09 and they will be available for demo in the coming week or 2.  They have Polar 3FX Brown Laser lenses (polarized, scratch resistant, fog resistant!).  The next free glasses will be the Sport Mask Performance with Racing Red lenses.  After that, I will get a female-specific pair if there\'s enough interest.

-BLACKWELL RESEARCH
They might be going out of business soon.  They had a deal earlier this week to get wheels for $250 each.  They are currently sold out.  I bought 2 of their 100mm Tubular front wheels.  One is for the team for demo purposes and/or if you want the wheel for a race (especially Ironman races).  The other one is personal, but I could be coaxed into selling it.

-BLUESEVENTY
If you would like a BlueSeventy wetsuit (we get 25% off retail on these babies), see attached sizing chart and let me know.  I have to place the orders for the team all at once.  I ask that you get back to me by Sunday if you\'re interested.  I need to meet you and get money (or a credit card to charge) by Tuesday.  I\'m placing the order on Wednesday, Feb. 11.  We also get 40% off accessories from BlueSeventy, so check out their website and get back to me.

-PROFILE DESIGN
Check your email for a pro-pricing chart or email me with questions on how much particular items are.  You can browse their website, www.profile-design.com to see what you\'d like to order.  We also have to place a bulk order for Profile Design.  I\'ll set a deadline of Friday Feb. 13 for when I need to hear back from you (and get your money).  I will place the Profile Design order on the 14th or 15th.

If you would like to try out our ISM seats here are some details about that:
ISM SEATS
Still available for demo.  Let Austin get your name on the waiting list.  We have the Adamo Road Saddle and the Adamo Racing Saddle.  See www.ismseat.com for more info on the seats.  Avaible to check out for a week at a time.  You just have to put down a $20 deposit (fully refundable) and sign a release form.  We get a 30% discount on these if you want to purchase.  Also, if you\'d like to have one for a race (probably the racing saddle), let me know and I\'ll see what I can do.

GULF COAST TRIATHLON (HALF-IRON DISTANCE)
It\'s on May 9th.  Go to http://www.gulfcoasttriathlon.com/ to sign up.  Austin is getting a hotel room and we can carpool/board up together to save money if you\'re doing the race.  There were at least 3 other interested people.

If there are any questions or concerns email me or one of the other officers. Have a great week everyone and lets get out there and train!

14Jan2009

Last night was the first meeting of the semester, if you were unable to make it here are the minutes from it:

In the email you will see stuff about contacting certain people.  If you go to the very end of the email you will find their email addresses.

-If you have paid your dues and have not picked up your t-shirt yet, contact Conrad immediatley to set up a time with him so that you can receive them.  We will be selling the shirts after a few days, there are still plenty left.

-Practices start immediately, so since today is thursday there will be a 7pm Run (yes i know its cold but thats just one extra training factor), meet at the leach stairs.

-Lyndsey will be holding a 9 a.m. trail run on fridays (she will send an email out later today where she wants you to meet her for these).

-Once we find someone to lead them, there will be what we\'re calling \"Scenic Saturdays\", these rides will go to places like georgia, the lighthouse, wakulla springs, etc.  These will be a lot of fun so keep your ears open for whenever we find someone to lead them (shouldn\'t be more then a week before we find someone).

-As a team there will be 6 total races that we will be racing from now until May, and these races will be posted on our website www.fsutriathlon.com
---Speaking of races, if you are registered for redhills and if you have paid your dues make sure you have your receipt because we will reimburse you for this race.  The only catch is, you have to actually race and finish it.
---Mark this in your calenders MARCH 22ND.  Why is this date important?  Because that is when we are holding our first HOME RACE!!!  This race is going to be a big money maker for our club, and as a team we have 7 free entry spots.  We will keep you updated how those spots are chosen.  Since this is going to be such a big race, if you do not get one of those spots than we NEED VOLUNTEERS.  Volunteers are what makes or breaks how well a race goes and since we are all simply amazing we need volunteers out there to make everything go smoothly.  Tommy Barton (Vice President) will be sending out an email at a later date with more information.
---Mark this in your calenders also APRIL 18TH, this is Collegiate Nationals!  We as a team are limited to 14 spots (7 males and 7 females).  Right now we\'re still figuring out logistics because it\'s in Texas but we will let you all know.  If you are interested email Tommy Barton (VP.

-WE HAVE A NEW SPONSOR!  Blue70 has decided to sponsor us, they are wetsuit company.  The only thing is we can only get the discount at their panama city store.  Keep your ears open for a possible team trip to panama city for people interested in getting a significant discount on a wetsuit.
---Austin Boyle (Treasurer) has what the specific discounts are

-If you want to demo one of our road or race ISM seats send Austin Boyle (Treasurer) an email so he can put your name on the list.

-If anyone is interested in custom cycling shoes contact Jessica Moidel, she can possibly get you discounts.  The website for the shoes is www.d2customfootwear.com  check it out, it\'s awesome!

-There will be a Social this Friday Night at Austin Boyles house, find  him on facebook or wait for an email on directions to his place.  The theme is a hobo theme.

-Again the workouts are online and they start immediately, come out, have fun, and meet your fellow tri-athletes.

Here are a few email addresses if you need to contact people:

Jessica Moidel: jessicamoidel@gmail.com
Austin Boyle:  fmj30cal@gmail.com
